A lot of card sales never touch a marketplace. They happen in a Facebook group post, a Discord channel or a DM, the buyer pays through PayPal or Venmo, and the address shows up in a message. There's no packing slip, so you copy the address by hand, and a missing apartment number only shows up when the envelope comes back.

The address link fixes the start of that. You send the buyer a link, they type their address, USPS checks it, and it waits in your Jobs page ready to print as a tracked envelope.

How it works

  1. Set up your link once. Pick a shop name and a link name, list where you sell, and add your return address. It takes about a minute.
  2. Send it after someone pays. Paste it in the DM, or pin it in your sales post. There's a ready-to-paste message you can copy.
  3. The buyer types their address. USPS checks it as they type. A missing unit or an address USPS can't find gets fixed before it's sent.
  4. It shows up in your Jobs page. If you use the Pip app with alerts on, your phone tells you when an address comes in.
  5. Print. Every waiting address prints in one PDF, on the envelope or label you already use, with a USPS Intelligent Mail barcode.
  6. Mail it and follow the scans. Mark the batch mailed, and the buyer's page shows their tracking as USPS scans it.

Permanent link or one-time link

Permanent linkOne link for all your sales: tcghaultracker.com/ship/yourshop. Pin it or reuse it.
  • The buyer also says where they bought, their username there, and an email or phone
  • Good for sales posts and busy weeks
One-time linkMade for one buyer, from your Jobs page or Settings.
  • Already marked with their username (and the item and sale amount, if you add them)
  • The buyer only types their address
  • Works once, expires after 30 days

What the buyer sees

A short page with your shop name (and your logo and colors if you use buyer branding on a paid plan). No account and no app. After they send it, they get their own page with the address as USPS has it, a way to fix it until you print, and then their tracking.

What you see

Sellers with an address link get a Link sales view on Jobs: addresses that came in, one button to print them, a list of what's printed but not mailed, and what you've mailed recently. Switch to All jobs any time for uploads and everything else. If you don't recognize an address, hold it out of the print batch and reach the buyer with the contact they gave.

Shipping in a box or mailer? On a paid plan, tick Ship as package on any address. Packages print in their own batch, where you buy a USPS package label from All jobs. Sales of $50 or more always ship as a package, the same as orders from packing slips. Packages carry the label's own USPS tracking, so the Shipment Guarantee for tracked letters doesn't apply to them.

Already selling on a marketplace? Keep uploading your packing slips or CSV files as usual. The address link is for the sales that don't have one.

Shipment Guarantee on link sales

On paid plans, tracked letters with at least one USPS scan are covered by the Shipment Guarantee up to $50 if they're lost after they're mailed. For sales through your address link, three extra standards apply (Program Standards G-4 to G-6):

  • Enter the sale amount before printing. No amount, no coverage.
  • The buyer paid with something other than cash, like PayPal, Venmo or another payment service.
  • A claim needs the payment record, like the transaction ID. You never need to open or wait on a payment dispute.

Claims are reviewed and paid as a bill credit. See how the Guarantee works.

The buyer's details

The address goes only to you, for that order. The buyer's email or phone is shown only to you, isn't used for marketing, and is deleted 30 days after you print the order. See our Privacy Policy.

What it costs

The address link comes with every account, free or paid. Each address you print uses one order on your plan or credits, the same as any other order. Postage and package labels are on paid plans.

Questions

Does the buyer need an account?

No. They open your link, type their address and send it. No app, no sign-up.

Where does it work?

Anywhere you can paste a link: Facebook groups, Discord servers, subreddits, Instagram, text messages or email. It's for any sale without a marketplace packing slip.

What's the difference between the permanent link and a one-time link?

The permanent link is one link you can pin or reuse; the buyer also tells you where they bought, their username there and an email or phone, so you can tell who sent it. A one-time link is made for one buyer, already marked as theirs, so they only type their address. It works once and expires after 30 days.

What if the address is wrong?

USPS checks it while the buyer types. If a unit number is missing or USPS can't find the address, the buyer is asked to fix it before sending, and they can still fix it from their own page until you print.

Does it cost extra?

No. The address link comes with every account. Each address you print uses one order on your plan or credits, the same as any order. Postage is available on paid plans.

Are these sales covered by the Shipment Guarantee?

On paid plans, yes, when you enter the sale amount and a non-cash payment method (PayPal, Venmo or another payment service) before printing. Cash sales aren't covered. A claim needs the payment record, and you never have to open a payment dispute first. Claims are reviewed.

Can I ship one as a package?

Yes, on paid plans. Tick Ship as package on the address before printing and it goes to its own batch, where you buy a USPS package label. Sales of $50 or more always ship as a package.

Who sees the buyer's details?

Only you. The address goes on your order. The buyer's email or phone is shown only to you and is deleted 30 days after you print the order.

Can I stop the link?

Yes. Pause it any time, or reset it to get a new link; the old one stops working.
